Our Story
Both founders of Distinctive Fundraising are dads, entrepreneurs, and community leaders. They recognized a need and created a solution. Chad Yaw and Don Bishop have developed this unique business to enhance the simple idea of fundraising.
As dads, our founders were involved with organizations like sport teams, clubs and bands. Most of these organizations had financial needs that were often taken care of by selling subs, popcorn, candles, candy and other traditional fundraising practices.
As business owners, they have become successful due to relentless effort to solve problems.
As community leaders, they have worked for and supported ideals that result in a common good that benefits all involved.
Distinctive Fundraising is designed to use technology to bring together non-profit groups with vendors and buyers so that everyone benefits.

Chad Yaw is President and CEO of Distinctive Fundraising LLC and V.P. of Susquehanna Glass. Chad is an entrepreneur and inventor. He enjoys creating solutions to overcome barriers for everyday life. This is the basis behind the innovative solution of fundraising on line.

Don Bishop is President and CEO of Affinigent, Inc., a firm he founded along with a partner in 1999. Prior to 1999 he was president of Beacon Resources, Inc., ImageWorks Computer Graphics Corporation and Don Bishop Communications.
Affinigent (www.affinigent.com) develops Internet Applications and websites for businesses and other small and medium size organizations.
